Carthage College Esports Program was recently featured in the CBS58 HomeTowns series! Check out the video at the link below and get up to speed on some of the great work taking place for this growing program.

 

Recently, the Neenah-Menasha YMCA invested in the creation of a Tech Lab, with an emphasis on engaging their youth population through esports! David Herrmann, sports and recreational director of Appleton YMCA, says it offers a space for gamers to be competitive and build meaningful relationships with others. Powered by Plexus Corp., it features 20 stations equipped with the latest gaming computers, X-Box series X , Nintendo Switch and adaptable gaming controllers for those who may not be able to operate a traditional controller.

The Madison WolfPack esports program recently won its 2nd Valorant national title! This is the fifth overall NJCAAE championship for the program. Read more about their success and the season overall as described by headcoach Joe Hanson in the article below.

Take a look at all the articles and in particular, check out the conversation that was had by a number of the states gaming leaders at a Madison event earlier this year.

 

A new gaming venue opened up in Lake Country (Kettle Moraine), focused on providing teens a place to play video games, watch movies, and more! The venue is called The HangoutKM, make sure to stop by or shoot them a note as they begin their new venture!
